I'm trying to catch up! It's still (real time) Monday May 7th...
Spend the morning at the British Museum. Not nearly as crowded as last time we went, which was a rainy weekend day. I managed to complete the 2nd third of my planned walk through the museum on this excursion. Old stuff here. Old stuff there... The Rosetta stone. The oldest man made tool ever found. Ancient civilizations. Their gods. The mummies again. Old books. Old jewelry. Stuff from the far East. Stuff from all over the world that the British took home from visits or ruling the world.
Maxine went to the V&A. Met up with a friend of hers who was visiting London.
We were getting a big tired from the sightseeing, so we took it easy and went out for an Italian food dinner in Kensington. A recommendation from a work friend of Maxine's.
